Pumpkin Punch – It’s Halloween Time!
This year is pretty scary, so it somehow fits the mood that Halloween is just around the corner.
By the way, the word Halloween means “evening before All Saints Day”.
Its origins lie in Ireland and were passed down to the USA with Irish immigrants, where it became the Halloween we know today. Featuring Halloween parties, carved pumpkins, trick-or-treating, costumes and spooky-looking snacks and drinks.
At some point in the early 1990s, the horror wave spread to Germany and it started with the scary costume parties and dressed-up zombie children who parade through the streets on the evening of October 31st and demand trick-or-treating.
Either you think Halloween is super cool, with all the scary decorations, the cutting out of scary pumpkin faces, all the horror movie costumes and the elaborate make-up, or you don't like it at all.
Big parties are out of the question this year anyway.
We therefore recommend that all Halloween fans have a cozy, scary horror movie night this year. Create your own watchlist with classics and new releases from the horror, mystery and zombie genres. Stock up on the countless sweets and potato chips that look like eyeballs, zombies, bats or bloody fingers.
Your local supermarket is full of them right now.
We then serve our Pumpkin Punch and the evening promises to be a spookily delicious treat.
All Halloween fans and horror refusers will enjoy it, we promise!
We wish you a spooky, happy Halloween!
